Update 6/3/24:
Sorry for not posting the last two months. Got several big updates. I picked up a 2001 Audi TT 225hp quattro 6 speed for my wife. I flew down to Jacksonville, bought it from the original owner and drove it back to Charlotte and spent a ton of time working on it before taking it to Alpine Volks Fair in Helen, GA in May.
As for the 911, I was really on the fence about which direction to go with the engine. I was looking at 3.0 and 3.2 engines from later cars, a stock 2.7 and some other options. After doing a ton of research and searching, I decided I wanted to do a hot-rodded mid-year 2.7 engine, so I ended up buying this one on BringaTrailer.
No Reserve: Porsche 911 Type 911/93 2.7L Engine It will have to wait to get installed until the car gets back from paint, but that will give me time to freshen up the carbs and order a bunch of parts.
Also, I towed the 911 to the shop to have the paint done. I have already started receiving progress pics but I will start to share those in a future post.
