I use it primarily as a theft deterrent, and to switch between a 370 prototipo I use for around town and casual driving, and a 350 veloce that is better suited to track days and spirited driving, so I’m using it a lot and it doesn’t bother me.
I don't really care too much if it takes a little effort to disconnect the wheel. It won't be seeing track use, and I won't be in a position where I can't just wiggle it a little to get it off if necessary.

I'm a bit more concerned with sort of the functionality. Is there any play? Our friend above suggested that a few of the NRG quick disconnects had forward/backward play, which would indeed be disconcerting. Still use the horn on yours? There are wires there for it, but I'm not sure what the story is on that.
