My '79 SC which I bought in 2004 has been sitting patiently in my shop waiting for me to show it some love. Seems like i sat for only a year or two, but my plate says 2019 since I last drovr it. Crazy how fast time flies the older one gets. I charged the battery last week to shuffle it around and it would not start. After some troubleshooting I found the fuel pump was seized from sitting. I got it freed up and got the car running again.... Major smoke fest for the first 10 minutes! Anyhow, last night I recharged the AC and today I am getting new plates to put it on the road again. Sure was nice taking it for some quick jaunts up and down my road last night. Think I will drive it for the rest of this summer on nice days to work.
