Tim, the old original rubber hoses are non barrier hoses. They will always leak. The only cure is to replace them with barrier hoses. And holding a vacuum foor a while is not a real test. Air pressure is just 14.7 PSI. Not much of a pressure test. The G body 911s have about 27 feet of hose and multiple components. A pruge with nitrogen to 75 to 100 PSI and a long vacuum pull to get to under 100 microns is really needed to rid the system of moisture.
