Yep.... That said, old r12 hoses soak up oil over the years and do not leak typically as much as newer r12 hoses.
Back when I did this 19 years ago, it would typically need about a can every summer which was no big deal for me and much cheaper/easier than replacing all the hose snaked through a 911SC (front AND rear condensers and evaporator).
