We had not had any rain in a while, and things were getting a little dry. Last night a thunderstorm popped up. We received 2.33 inches of rain in 45 minutes. Some very small hail, and LOTS of winds. Some to 75 MPH. The windows all got washed with rain.
We have a rain barrel the city provided for 20 bucks and it had the kit to hook it up to a sown spout of the gutter. It was nearly empty, I bet it is full again. My wife uses that to water most all of the plants in the back yard. I told her I would take car of watering the plants that need it today!
