I think it’s more like CITY Kids are not as into driving now as in the past. Kids don’t need to leave home to interact with each other anymore, it’s all done online. They don’t need to go anywhere, so why get a drivers license?
Nearly every kid in my son’s grade 8 class has gotten their learners license within a month of turning 14… some took a few tries to pass the test. I can only think of 2 that have not got their licenses yet but I think this is more on the parents than the kids.
