Very informative. Both videos should be required viewing by all new to 911 considering the mid year impact bumper.

Not to nitpick but at the video 53:40 mark,a reference is made about “grounding of the latch” to turn off the trunk light.
Not sure if that’s the case, as there is a plunger switch near the lamp lens and a contact pad on the fender that shuts the power to the lamp. It makes contact to shut light off when lid is almost closed.

I found it easier to disconnect the Blk/Wht wire and keep the light off rather than fiddling with removing the lens just to get at that stubby little bulb. It’s not very bright anyway but sure does get hot, plus in a well lit garage it’s easy to forget to shut the lid and can lead to battery draw down.
