what is the tree species? as i suggested that thing needs to be thinning trimmed. I live in the forest and set aside about $1500 a year for tree work on the large pines, the black & canyon oaks on my property for tree health and safety. Waiting on a woodpecker nest to be vacated to have some major pruning done of the black oak I call the reaper over my house. Had some done a 3 years ago on it, last year had a black oak thinned out over my well house and mistletoe taken from a few others.


My tree guy always fills out the tags as "safety pruning" so if I have a fallen tree do damage I can demonstrate to my insurance company a history of preventive care.
