The answer is always Miata.
Seriously, these things are an absolutely incredible platform.
Want more power, put in a turbo or buy a turbocharged one.
The NC or ND cars have more power than the earlier cars that we race in spec Miata.
If you want incredible performance, look for one with an LS swap. Flying’ Miatas used to sell complete cars and kits.
