Cobalt, we have similar experiences, I bet our judge stories are similar. Like you I show and Judge. I am always in full which means other attendees don't understands why I am obsessed with the back side of wheels and undercarriage etc. - they want to chat.
One day I want to show at parade. I have owned my 89 speedster for 32 years and I think it would present very well. Was hoping it would be on the west coast for 2025 but its NY!
The only event that has more subjective wiggle room in judging is WERKs. I'll be showing two cars simultaneously this year at Monterey WERKs and judging
