That is a great view Seahawk!
I'd never get anything done if that was my office view...
Leaving tomorrow morning for another Ross Lake adventure, all packed up except for cooler contents.
My best buddy, my Son, his best buddy and a newbie are going this time.
My Son and his buddy Luke went every year for a decade up until 2021, Luke got married (I officiated his marriage to Julia) right before they moved to Baltimore for her Residency training. He's flying in, Aaron's flying up from Pasadena and the newbie is my buddy Steve's Great nephew from Alaska.
We won't be camping this year (usually 3 nights) just staying a couple nights in the floating cabins- that's OK, a whole lot less gear to wrangle and prepare and to move and to clean afterwards.
Prior year's captures:
Ross Lake is about 5 miles and 4'000' below, Desolation Peak is way up the lake and takes at least a half day to bag.
