1984 Honda Interceptor VF750F - $1,000 (Boerum Hill) on CL - posted 3 days ago

(I think this is in Brooklyn, New York)

Might be a good deal for someone interested in a 1st Gen Interceptor. Sounds like a carb cleaning would solve the issue.

==================

Probably the most beautiful motorcycle to come out of the 1980s. This bike has been well loved over the last 30 years. 32,337 miles.

Sold as-is. The bike will generally start with enough patience but is not easily rideable. It has an inconsistent idle and stalls under many throttle conditions. Most likely just needs a carb cleaning/tuning. It also was knocked over while parked recently: the right brake lever is bent and the right mirror is missing (see pic).

Otherwise this is a special bike. When it is running properly it an amazing ride. The previous owner took terrific care of the bike and told me it was a rare example of an 84 VF750F that does not have any valve issues.

This bike is quite a steal at this price, so it's not negotiable. I recommend having a plan for moving the bike that is not riding it.
