There was a guy that had a worse than clapped out 1976 Pinto for sale in a Facebook Group about a year ago… he claimed it was rare because somebody told him that this car was the first ever Pinto. He wanted $15k for it. The trouble is that they made 3 million Pintos and production began in 1970 for the 1971 model year.
I didn’t balk at his price and offered to trade him for a ‘Wooden Helicopter Kit, some assembly required but all the hard work is done’…
