We had a plumber do the repipe and we watched most of it. It took 6 days and they basically ripped half the sheetrock off the ceilings and walls to get access to everything. They basically leave all the copper pipes in place and run new plastic hoses in its place. They make several main fittings that have like 6 connections on them going to various places. It's a pretty slick operation actually and it was @ $16K to do this house which includes repainting, etc. (3 levels, 6.500 sq ft)
Anyway, just dont understand why 4-5 of the 16 faucets taste bad and the others don't. The same main feed hose goes to the kitchen sink that goes to the fridge for example.
I talked to the county and they said to bring both samples in and they will see what they can find out.
