Replaced the front brakes and flushed the fluid from the whole system on my SAAB 9-3.
I bought the car last Fall and braking seemed to be fine except under hard braking the car pulled. The last couple weeks, there has been grinding on the passenger side, so ordered new calipers, pads, hoses and rotors.
Replacement went really well, everything broke loose and nothing stripped... well except the remanufactured caliper bleed screw was bungled, luckily I was able to fit the old bleeder screw in its place.
I quickly found the grinding issue- the inner pad was not a pad anymore- don’t tell me I didn’t get my money’s worth- down to just the backing plate!
