Interesting observation. I doubt that I'd notice.
The Regina weighs 4000-5000 tons and is 134' long depending upon load.
I just looked up some random 90' yacht. It weighs 90 tons, and is 89' long with a 6'4" draft.
I'm not sure that comparing the way they work in the water is a great comparison. It seems like that would be like comparing the 90' yacht to a bass boat.
