Ha! Ysterday I saw a tray like that with four ears in it for $5.00. No way would I pay that. My current favorite way to cook ears of corn is in the microwave. Trim the leaves and stem, put them in the oven for about two + minutes per ear, cut off the base, and work the husk and silk off by pulling on the other end. Works great.
