I've been transposing in my head what happened at this event with the launch of the ZR1 that took place all this week. Videos of the engineers and the writers from the motoring press giddily showing off the speed capabilities of the new car and then seeing the footage of how quickly many lives were changed when something goes wrong - and the images of the Porsche driver and his passenger wearing only helmets as protection.
