I used one of the small panels (about 3"x10 or 12") a long time ago to keep one of my tractor batteries charged. I found out one drawback was the wire from the bottom of the panel would break near the bottom of the panel. Outside in the wind & breezes the wires fatigue from being blown back & forth. If you use one, take that into consideration.
