Local sweet corn is just starting to hit the stands, the Stillaguamish and Snohomish valleys flooded over and over for eons and the topsoil that was layered in grows excellent corn!
Yesterday I was out and about and looked for any stands, no luck except for a "designer" farm that had it for $2 and ear...
Nope, I'll wait another week or 2 and get 3 for $2 or less.
Seems the 4 for a dollar days are gone here at least.
Then there's the Strawberries, Blueberries, Nectarines, Peaches (Millions of Peaches, but not for free)
Love this time of year!!
