Here's my PSA to any first-time air-cooled 911 owner:
"Chasing high-fidelity in your new-to-you car is a fools errand. Enjoy the symphony of the engine and the tires and the gearbox and that big fan. Spend your money wisely on parts and supplies that make the car run and stop and look and feel better but good music inside the cabin of the air-cooled 911 is a unicorn concept perpetrated by the owners and sellers of aftermarket stereo equipment. The Blaupunkt Frankfurt and fresh upper-mid-quality speakers in all the original holes meets all the needs of the Porsche 911 enthusiast."
