Guessing from the wrap of the passenger side door around the tree, the damage to the right-side door sill and the resting positions of the front and rear portions, I would say the vehicle rotated counter-clockwise, leaving the road after crossing the lane of oncoming traffic. It struck the tree with its right side, and the major components of the vehicle passed on either side of that tree, with the rear impacting a second tree a short distance away. That would have seemed to be a very long moment in time.
