That reminds me of several years back, when I decided to remove and paint my shutters. (sun had faded them) The ones on the second story required an extension ladder.
I was about 16 feet up and yanking on one to remove it. (they were held on by clips) when it finally came loose and a bat flew out right towards my face.
I don't know how I maintained my grip on the ladder with one hand.
