They had some fun songs, but I have to admit that when I walked into the Whiskey-a-go-go and they were playing back in about '78, my reaction was, "Are they still doing this ***** in L.A.?"
Punk rock and other original stuff was a lot more interesting at that time. But hey, they had their fans, so a lot of old people should be happy about now.
