Congrats on the little guy. From reading this thread, you sound quite happy - and for good reason.
But take it from a 944 owners' perpective. Those cars are NOT the type where you just "buy and drive" without having to worry about any real issues. As someone previously mentioned, 944 maintenance is damn expensive pound for pound and you'll inevitably shell out $$$ over sheer default of time if you drive one everyday - even if its a solid one to begin with. Ask me how I know.
