Head's up peeps......just posted on CL 16 hours ago:

1986 Honda VFR750 Interceptor - $4,500 (Atascadero) - 34.6K miles

This is in California near SLO.

From the ad:

This is a somewhat rare 1986 Honda 750 Interceptor, quantities were limited due to the US tariffs on motorcycle 750cc and above, this was to keep Harley alive.

This bike runs well, and looks great for an almost 40 yo bike. It is not perfect but it is very close, minor age related fairing cracks and scuffs. You can see the only dent right behind the filler cap. Some upgrades have been made including a rare Kerker 4-1 exhaust. Tires are good, wheels have been re-powdercoated, new wheel bearings, seals, sprockets, chain. No rust in the tank. I have the Honda Service manual. Registered until 05/25.
=============

My comments:

This is one of the most highly regarded of all the 2nd Gen Interceptors. From what I'm seeing on B.a.T. this is not an unreasonable selling price for an example in this condition. It's possible you could get her for a little less, but regardless you'd get your money back if you ever decided to re-sell, IMHO.

15 pics on the ad, including this one:
