La Trappe Quadrupel sounds like a beer I will like.
Regarding restaurants - no particular cuisine. I like Italian, mexican and steaks. She likes shellfish and just about anything.
From limited research, it looks like a couple rivers in the city might have salmon running in September. There are ponds and bays on the islands that look likely for pike. I have higher hopes for fishing near Keuka.
