Routing wiring with fuel lines
If you’ve seen my other posts, you may be aware I’m working on re-locating the fuel pump in my car.
I think I finally found a route for the fuel pump wiping and it looks like the route that will best support the wire and avoid chafe is to route the fuel pump wires along with the fuel hoses.
There’s a welded on loop that’s to support the fuel lines and it looks like there’s juuuust enough room to get the wire in there along with the fuel lines.
Does anyone have heartburn running wire together with fuel lines?
Something about it doesn’t seem quite kosher to me, but the wire is well insulated, the wire and both hoses will be supported and protected from chafe and of course the hoses are rubber.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
