People wanting instant gratification will quickly get bored as the intent is a long four-part epic on the settlement of the west. Both sides portrayed fairly. Native American indigenous people and the "white eyes."
I'm probably biased since it was a long filming process here. Of course, if you've never seen Moab, the scenery alone is worth it.

I streamed it on Max and agree with what you said. The landscapes alone are worth it. Some excellent western scenes and some a lot less so.
Was the ending a collage of unannounced previews of future chapters, or did I miss an announcement?
