I think that looks fine.........LOL Just put rod collars on the tensioner and make them mechanical racing chain tensioners. I like the chewed up cam nuts, probably used a Crescent wrench. Why would you need sealant between the cam towers and heads, just torque them to 100 ft Lbs . No chance the cams were timed properly.
Keep us posted, especially when you split the case.
