Gearbox change on a Morris Marina.
In a hand dug pit. With no jacks, hoists or help. Pig of a job.
The issue was you need to drop the back of the engine to get enough clearance to put the box back. That was not mentioned in the instructions. Took 6 hours of wrestling - holding that thing in the air - to finally get it back. I’m amazed nothing bent tbh.
