I am highly prone to being slightly ridiculous, and of course my partner knows this about me. I have quoted "One day, son, all of this will be yours" in my worst Monty Python accent enough times while standing in front of grand vistas that by now all I have to do is stand next to her and put my arm around her and she knows what's next based on context.
I have also told her (and others) that if I make any other purchases of modern German cars that she is to take the Bad Decision Bass out of the freezer and slap me with it, per the fish-slapping dance.
