I have two difficult repairs to mention:
1) Replacing the flex disk on an automatic 944. To get to it, you have to remove the torx tube.
To remove the torx tube, you have to remove the rear axle transmission. To remove the transmission, you have to remove the axles and squeeze in between the top of the transmission and the gas tank to remove a few bolts. Once all that is done, you can change the flex disk which takes about an hour.
2) Wiring the Electromotive Engine Management and Installing PMO Independant Throttle Bodies on my '74 911. My OCD kicked in and caused a lot of thinking and re-thinking the wire harness routing as I did not want to cut any holes in my car. It was a big job and sorting out about 50 wires to various sensors took a lot of time.
