Gorgeous 1974 Porsche 914 2.0 -- No Rust Whatsoever!

Listing this exceptional 1974 914 "time capsule" for a friend, fellow veteran and a retired orthopedic surgeon whose quite detail oriented (he's closing in on 90 and has decided to downsize just a little bit).

Priced for quick sale at $29,500.

Current owner purchased the vehicle in 2018 from a seller in the Denver area without an engine (originally equipped with a 1.8). Car had sat in a garage up there for decades. Odometer reads just past 18K -- given the age 50+ years likely turned over at least once BUT "new" engine has low, low miles.

Build date -- April 1974.

Engine (#EC041821) was a 2.0:
2.2 Liter and 120 hp
- complete valve job
- bore 96 mm
- stroke 71 mm
- compression 9.5 to 1
Racing oil pump
3/4 Cam (86a web cam)
10 lb flywheel
911 clutch
Weber carbs (Dellorto)

Transmission (#HA 20 034)

Recent paint, new tires.

Car comes with a nice under dash AC unit, not installed but meticulously placed in the trunk with an instruction manual.

Vehicle does have a slight exhaust leak, minor crack on the driver's side signal light, no headliner on interior of targa top and some cracking on interior rear targa trim piece. No other known issues -- a very fine car... .

Car will be listed on other classifieds sites and is for sale locally (here in the Colorado Springs area) as well. Will help facilitate shipping (FOB, place of origin). A sweet car that has been loved and will offer years of trouble-free and pleasurable motoring.
Grazee... .

Frank
