When challenged, you provided a link from 2020 when they DID have a completely pscho DA, (since recalled for being too lefty even for SF), , and ignored links to the current DA who has revived more conventional and stricter detention policies for defendants awaiting trial. You had to skip right past them in your google search for SF bail policy in order to get to the old one about the previous DA:

Sort of a dishonest argument, wouldn't you say? SF is a well known hotbed of progressive politics and many of their law enforcement policies are absolutely open for ridicule but you don't need to post misinformation to make that point.

There is nothing dishonest with my argument. It was concise and factual.

Tense is your friend when using the English language. Your statement seems to collaborate mine...you just seem not to realize it because you were so intent upon taking a cheap shot at me (and now cannot back away from it).

As I noted, SF did eliminate cash bail, they did eliminate the use of facial recognition to catch criminals, and they pretty much banned guns for the self-defense of private, law-abiding citizens. While you may believe SF laws much like the rest of CA (so normal and reasonable) ...I would contend that it is awfully difficult to buy and carry a weapon in CA cities (and especially in SF) as compared to most of the country.
