Ok so I added the Canon T series to my collection. These are so 1980s it hurts.so cool. You can definitely see Canon struggling with the Brass and Glass mindset of the 70s 80s SLR market that was not ready for the these metal chassis yet fiberglass bodied T series. You can see canon chose to build these cameras to resemble the previous generations brass bodied SLRs yet they are fiberglass bodies. Interesting to see the T90 was the first step towards the modern SLR bodies. Leaving the earlier T50 T70 T80 a curious link between the classic brass bodies and the modern “plastic/fiberglass” bodied SLR of the late 80s 90s.
