His plane, “Mr. Toad” (91749) served him well for 86 missions over Viet Nam. The next guy who flew “Mr Toad” was hit really bad flying a mission in route pack six in 1969. The plane was barely flyable but got the pilot back to safety where he was able to eject over friendly territory.
