Having rafted the Canyon as a boatman, baggage only my first and last trip, which was twelve days on the river and decades before the webski, all I can tell you is that after the twelve days, I decided to stay, this is in the late 70's, on the North Rim, before I headed back to California....I was in a tent.
There is a sense of awe and wonder that is effortless to see, impossible to describe.
