It sucked. The wind in the calm areas, there is a lot, can be difficult and the baggage boat is a brick.
Actually, the river is fairly easy to run in terms of line up, technique and run out. Big water is not technical at all. The Head Boatman on my only run in the canyon would wait, tell me the right approach, ferry angles, and off he would go.
