I tried to watch The Fall Guy, Bikeriders, and Kingdom of Planet of the Apes, and couldn't make it past the first 30 minutes of any. I find that shocking. In my lifetime, the only movie I couldn't watch to the end was Sheena, Queen of the Jungle. Now, in just one year, I've seen three more movies that are unwatchable.

Why is that? Am I just older and more demanding? Is Hollywood dying at the hands of Netflix, Prime, and such? Did they shoot all the writers? Are the effects of Covid still haunting the studios?

Seriously, there's got to be at least one person here that can tell me why movies have gone to hell in 2024.
I thought Sheena was an amazing movie. Though I only saw it once maybe 12 years ago or so. The opening scene anyway is in my top ten best scenes. As for unwatchable ones there are many. They were forgetable and iv forgot them. Thats the beauty of watching utube you can fast forward through them up to 2x speed. I see Sheena is free to watch on utube so im going to watch it again and see if its bad
