Project Farm and Torque test...both top notch tool test channels. There are others I like as well. Also, tool box tours, etc. All great stuff when planning a tool buy.
But then, not all tool buys are planned. More than a few of my tools were bought when I was into a project resulting in a trip to a local FLAPS or hardware store to buy a whatever needed.
Also, as Masarum said in the wrench test, I'm sure not going to toss an old working and still functional tool in order to buy the latest & greatest according to testing.
