Most important is good knock sensor setup! The Bosch wide frequency response sensors are great, and MoTec has the best strategy I've used with any ECU. Find the threshold and put a good margin of safety.

If you are interested I can make you a great package price deal on MoTec hardware and / or my water to air ITB kit. The performance is amazing. Water to air is really the only way to go for rear and mid engine cars. No air to air engine mounted cooler comes even close!

Twin plugs heads - really not a huge benefit with todays coil on plug power available. That is unless you are running E98, methanol or huge (2 bar+) boost. I've played around with these quite a bit, even trying slight delays and restrikes between the two plugs. It's all about the same when you have COP power.

On a distributor car it's great, but why would you keep that?

The current EFR turbos beat the Garretts everywhere but physical size. The twin scroll 7670 is an amazing street turbo for 2.5-3.5l engines. Will spool very fast on a 3.4.

That or I'd run twin 6758 or 7163 (the 7163 can now be had with a iron CHRA that doesn't need water cooling!)

I ran twin 6258s on a 3.6 993 with my WTA ITB setup and it spooled basically immediately. Almost too fast!
