Many years ago, I found a 1/2" Snap-On ratchet in a parking lot of the FLAPS where I worked after closing. It had what I believe is a broken tooth. It would run around one direction and stop. I could reverse it and run back around to the same spot and it would stop. I waited until the next time that I worked and saw Snap On truck at the shop across the street and walked it over. They repaired it in about 5 mins and handed it back to me. I'm not sure if I've still got it or if it's the one that my son lost (rather than let him lose my dad's old Craftsman or the Craftsman that my parents gave me when I turned 16).
