When I talk to Carl next week, if he doesn’t have any suggestions, I’ll probably go for the 20” leaf springs from Sturdy Built for $200. They also have a bushing that converts to a half-inch bolt, which is what I need on one end of each spring. Otherwise, I would need to drill the trailer out to 9/16” holes.

That’s better than the $400 springs from Trailex.

One more thought, I’m going to ask Carl if it’s possible to convert the trailer to torsion axles. If it’s possible, then I would skip the leaf springs and convert to torsion axles. As it is, my plan is to sand and treat the surface rust on the axles.
