Hi, this my 1969 911E . Have owned it 40 years , 220,000 miles Sold new in Hong Kong, as a Sporto, full service history. Arrived here in New Zealand in 1984 , I changed the Sporto, to a 901/ 5 speed manual , and have never regretted it. I love it , and enjoy working on it , myself. So simple compared to later 911s. Earlier this year, a friend and I , entered the Classic Alpine Tour rally, in the South Island ( NZ) , 3000 miles by the time I returned, 32 mpg , only problem, was a headlight bulb blew , I had spare ,10 minutes later all fixed, and away again. .
