I briefly considered an Aston Martin a few years back, but was informed that Aston will not sell parts to a private owner, or even body shops.
If the car got damaged, it would have to be shipped to the nearest factory authorized repair dealership, which at the time was in San Fransisco.
The Seattle (Bellevue) dealership was trying to get authorized, and maybe they are by now.
I said I would also need the factory shop manual, as I perform my own maintenance.
I don't think the sales dude had never had that question before.
Apparently, the typical Aston owner does not have greasy fingernails.
