The BBC journalist covering the incident certainly was a bit sarcastic about the manipulation and the tidy "remarks" attributed to the boy during private discussions.
He was 14 by the way. What possible reason can you imagine why the Isrealis would not want him questioned by the press? You would think that would only serve to benefit their
PR angle - no?
