With some vaccines, like the flu shot and Covid, they will ask if you want them spread out by a week and it's a good idea to do that for the very reason stated in this thread. At this point, he has no idea which one got him so bad. The good news is that he's definitely vaccinated after that reaction.

It's been a very long time, but when we moved to Japan, and then when I went to Spain, I believe we were given shots in separate trips, although I think some happened in conjunction. Maybe the shots that I had to get to travel internationally were different than modern shots.
