Wow, really spectacular!

We got a little bit of a show last night. Your show was like seeing the Stones in concert. Our show was more like seeing one teenager play a guitar that he just got for his birthday. But considering how far south we are, I'll take what I can get.
The color is brighter and more vivid than what you could see with your eye.

I was out shortly after sunset and thought "Is that a pink tint in the sky to the north?" It was, but I wasn't sure that I was seeing the aurora. I went inside and came back out after a bit. As soon as I looked north, the whole sky looked like a "barbie sunset". The sky to the north was very pink/magenta over a huge area. I turned around and told the missus that she needed to come outside. After we got outside and we noticed that the color came and went, she observed for a bit and then went inside. I stayed for quite a while longer, but it faded a lot. I saw 3 meteors that were all in the same place going the same direction over the course of 30-45 mins. I saw color come and go, and then it was mostly gone. Per one article that I saw last night, we can check tonight and this weekend for more.
